The bottom floor is all quiet now, with the fight over. The cleric is running past making haste to get out of there. Leaving the party at the bottom, with Kraver volunteering to watch the door whiel the rest head up.

As the immediate battle seems at a standstill, Elisabeth sheathes her sword and moves over towards Fazahd. Reaching back to one of the side pockets of her pack, she just sticks her fingers in under the flap... and withdraws a wand. "I'll fix you right up", she says to him.

"Yes, thank you," says Fazahd, who grunts at the damaged shoulder that the statue had given him - one that is now quite easily kniitted through the power of divine whatever. "But we must go up the stairs. I must terrify and murder all opposition and Aya needs our help. It's for their own good."

Really, something's wrong with that guy.

"Allow me to take the lead? No offense meant, but I think I'm a little... tougher than you are?", Elisabeth suggests, stashing the wand back away into that same pocket of her pack, before drawing her sword back from its sheath.

"I really doubt that," Fazahd says, brows arched. "But far be it from me to stop you." Sword away, shield packed, and out comes the dissolver gun. "Please. Lead on."

"Okay... let's go. I'll do my best to keep an eye out for tricks and traps. If you can, look for magicks, as well... this -is- a wizard's tower, after all", Elisabeth suggests.

Several of the steps leading to the second floor have a slight displacement. WHen looking closer Elisabeth is able to quickly realize they are pressure plates for some kind of trap.

Elisabeth points out the steps to avoid as she sees them, indicating that they are pressure plates, continuing up at a careful and steady pace.

The second floor is a scene of nightmares for many. opening the door hits everybody with the smell of decaying blood, guts, and rotting corpses. A glance shows the bodies of elves, humans, dwarves, orcs, and other races. All of them sentient.

"Those poor souls...", Elisabeth says, before uttering a prayer to Daeus, asking him to show her any dweomers that might be within her sight. After a few moments, she continues through, saying, "No magicks, here...", as she walks slowly enough to be able to maintain her concentration on the spell.

"Because of course," Fazahd murmurs, dissolver in hand. He talks to demons every day, this is....still horrible, just not, you know, the worst thing ever. "Sacrifices and horror. Next level, let's keep on and murder the bastard."

More traps lead up to the third floor. Slowing down your progress as you have to identify them. Opening the third door shows a rather difference scene. This is a dining room fit for kings. The most lavish of finary, beautiful great smelling food, even two ladies in waiting. They offers bows, "Shall we set dinner for two?"

"I am no murderer. I will not allow him to kill another person, however. He's shown, in the past, no intent to do anything other than escape. We are -not- here to murder him, or to bring him to justice; we are here to bring justice to him", Elisabeth says, with no hint of resignation in her voice -- she's dead serious about taking him down.

"No time for you two," Fazhad hangs the dissolver on his belt and draws his sword, marching forward. "Stand aside or fall in pieces."

Elisabeth, on entering the lavish dining hall, steps forward just enough to make room for the others to enter behind her. Narrowing her eyes a bit, she casts her gaze about the room, without lowering her shield and sword. Anyone who's aware of the spell she cast, below, would realize she's looking for signs of magic in the room.

The two servents let out girlish shrieks and stand aside, "barbirians! Evil doorers! Please don't kill us!"

"It's an illusion", Elisabeth says after a few moments.

Blinking her eyes, Elisabeth says, "It's a good one, too. It all looks very real to me, even though I can see the magic that holds it in place..."

Elisabeth drops to a knee, placing her sword point-first on the floor in front of herself. "Daeus, oh Shining Knight, Lord of Light! Foul magicks fill this room with false light, making me and those with me see what is not real. I beseech you, Dragon Father, to channel your Light through me, to banish that which is false", she says, offering prayer to her god.

The room stays the same, but on ther far wall a door shimmers into place. You all quickly relize there was no door to the stairs up before, there is now.

Rising to her feet, Elisabeth utters a simpler prayer to ask for the ability to see dweomers, once again. "The illusion is gone, now. No more magic. Which means you women are real", she adds, lifting her sword to point it at the serving women. "Either you surrender and lay down any and all weapons you have on you, immediately, and allow us to confirm that you are disarmed, or you will be dealt with as we must deal with any other henchmen and allies of Sutek!", she says to them, sternly.

The women squeel and hold each other, "Weapons!? Whatweapons we simply cook and serve food for the lord of the tower. Su'Tek." they offer and start to sob, "He is a good man, treats us kindly, feeds us... why are you doing this!?" one of them falling to her knee's as she faints. The one still standing sniffles, "Are you going to murder us?"

"Sutek is the murderer", Elisabeth says. "We are here to bring justice to him. You", she says, pointing to the one that didn't faint, "will take your companion downstairs after you are searched, and await us there. When we are done with what we must do, we will escort you back to Alexandria." That said, and under guard by the others, she makes as thorough a search as she can of the two women, before ushering them down the stairs. That done, she turns to take point once more, making her way to the door, sword and shield at the ready... and her Detect Magic spell once more cast to let her see more wizardly tricks.

Elisabeth stops the women, shaking her head. "I nearly forgot about the traps upon the stairs", she says. She then ties the women to two of the comfortable-looking chairs at the table. "You will wait for us here, instead", she says to them. "When we come back down, we'll get you past the traps on the stairs, safely."

The woman stops and blinks, "Traps? Why would good master Su'tek have traps... oh dear... we were working for an evil overlord? I suppose the tower and blood smell from below gave it away..." as she faints.

Resignedly, Elisabeth ties the two fainted women to chairs... then proceeds to lead the way up the next flight of stairs, again making sure she has her own magic to see the wizard's magical tricks, ahead.

There are no traps along the stairs this time. The door opens up into a massive library that is two stories tall taking up the 4th and the 5th floor. Books are everywhere, some of them are even what appears to be leather bound.

Pointing out which books have illusions, wards, and evocations on them, Elisabeth cautions everyone to not, yet, go touching any of them -- especially not the ones with the evocations on them, as those are most likely the magical traps. "We can always come back to this place, later, and deal with the traps before taking the books they ward", she says, heading for the next set of stairs.
