Late Morning, Goblintown

A faint mist of rain renders Goblintown's scrappy infrastructure into a mild shine, the scent of harked foods and questionable wares heavy from the weather. Amongst the throng of folks, one sticks out, a rust red and white egalrin woman, kneeling down as they converse with a scrap salesman. As she's handing over coinage, the salesman jabbers briefly at her, "Oh yeah, watch out in fancy pants lands, I heards theys doing something round there, some big meeting or whatevers."

Slixvah quirks a brow, her taking an abnormally large sewing needle, it as tall as her, before she smiles brightly. "Really now? That's good to know." Sounds like something that the shapeshifting witch could easily attend... <Goblin-Talk>

The rain, the bane of everything that was sunny. Still, there was no beating a certain ruddy scaled sith-makar, who seemed to be _radiant_ in the moisture, his exposed scales shimmering and reflecting off his fire-y glaive. Which probably was something of an hazard in the Goblintown.

The Dragoon, Aelwyn, had a small basket hanging off one of his shoulders as he steadily made his way across with his sauntering step, a flash of his teeth barely hidden. Though - he pauses as he sees the familiar looking egalrin. "... Ribbon?" He calls out, surprised to find her here.

Settled cross-legged on a folded carpet, the Goblin meditates. A small umbrella keeps the drizzle from settling on her. At first glance is appears that she is ignorant of her surroundings, but every so often, an eye cracks open, looking about furtively before closing again. The corners of her mouth curl up slightly.

The strange area of Alexandria attracted all manner of people on various days. And this day a small winged makari was wandering through, with a rather large umbrella overhead. Eztli did not appear to be after anything in particular, but a few faces make them stop and wave wide. "Heya Slix, what's up? You were planning on offering work as a costume designer for me, were you? I know you need a lot of fabric for a dragon, but even that looks a bit excessive from what little I know about needlework."

After a brief handshake, Slix pulls herself to her feet, ribboned wings unfurling as it looks like she's about to take off. But getting called out stymies the egalrin. She turns, smiles- then tilts her head. "Oh heya Flutter, what's good which'ya? You seem hotter than usual," she teases, resting a hand on her hip as she leans against the large needle.

The a wing almost bats out the small umbrella of the meditating gobber, but pulls it in the last moment. "Ah, sorr', didn' see ya there," she briefly says before catching Eztli. "Oh! Heya Cutie! Hah! Naw! I saw thi' thing and thought it looked neat!" she snickers, holding up the large metal needle. It's more blunt than sharp, and better serves as a walking stick. "Besides, I'm betta as an actor! I can be whateva ya need!"

Aelwyn makes his way closer and then in front of Slixvah, tilts his body just slightly to definitely not show off his body. "Is that so, Ribbon? And what particularly catches her eye today?" He rumbles right on back with a flicker of his tongue. Before answering though, he turns towards Eztli and bows his head in unnecessarily grandiose fashion. "Remember the letter?" He barely could hold back his grin. "This one received a response!"

Turning towards the goblin, he twists his lips. "An odd place to rest, one would think. Especially in this part of the town." He then turns towards Eztli, looking disappointed for her. "Tch, this one is sorry she did not find a dragon to act the part." Especially the not finding the dragon part.

Choler cracks an eye, and squints at Slixvah a moment. "Planning on doing some ropework?", she wonders of the Egalrin. Sighing at length, the Gobbo stands, and begins to unfold and roll up her little carpet, hanging onto the umbrella with her chin.

Her head cants and she peers at Aelwyn. "Ah, you are still alive." Her little face scrunches up. "I was here first. I'm wearing red. It's not like one cannot see me."

"That so, Aelwyn? That's great!" Eztli beams, in that somewhat terrifying makari way. "Of course, I shouldn't be surprised, but still, great! I'm taking it based on your reaction it was a good response?" They wonder out loud. "True, true, you'd be wasted on the sidelines much like Aelwyn would be, but, yeah. Didn't find one yet, so I don't even know if it'll be possible. Who knows though?" She continues, finishing with a small sigh. "Are you going to put that needle on your wall then Slix? It does look pretty interesting, where'd you get it? I don't know many giant novelty needle stores in town."

"Yes, Aelwyn is still alive, what makes you wonder that?" They ask.

"You seem more cocky than usual is all," Slixvah snickers, her playfully smacking his torso. She glances down at the relaxing gobber, her tilting her head to the side. "Nuh. Like I said, it looks neat," she explains, patting the needle's eye.

But her attention shifts fully to Aelwyn, her brows shooting up high. "Oh shi- really? Hot damn! Already? Nice!" she grins happily.

Addresing Eztli, she gestures to the towering junk pile some distance away deeper in Goblintown. "Eh, dunno yet! Found it in the Junkyard. Gonna use it as a walkin' stick until I gets tired of it or somethin'."

Aelwyn grins from side to side, rocking a little from the smack to his chest that just puffs up in response. "There was a courier, a page, and a pink gun, but this one did." He turns to look towards Eztli. "Though this one must ask her of noble ways - should we celebrate at TarRaCe later?" He offers. To be fair, he was already planning to.

Tilting his head curiously at Choler then though, he slowly looks at her. "... ah, red is a very good color." He comments with a bow of his head. "Though this might not remember where we met...?"

Eztli gets another look from him. "Hmmh. Has she considered simply going on a hunt for one on her own? Would she not know best?"

"Oh.", the Gobber says to Slixvah. "I had thought some ropework would be helped along by a needle that big. Is that one something giant use? Seems like a waste of steel otherwise. I suppose it would make for a sturdy walking stick."

Tucking her carpet under an arm, Choler tilts her head back to peer at the grey sky. "Hmmph."

Looking to Eztli, she blinks. "I wonder because it is Aelwyn. He has a penchant for fire. And sharp implements. I had not seen him for some time. I had assumed he'd accidentally stabbed himself with fire and passed on."

Her gaze shifts to Aelwyn, growing baleful. Her frown grows toothy. Gesturing with a hand, she looks back to Eztli. "See?! He'd forget his head at home, if it wasn't screwed on!"

"Huh. Maybe someone in goblin town made it for a prank? Some Tarienites stuck it in a haystack to mess with people?" Eztli wonders out loud. "Oh, right! Sure, I'm down to celebrate! And well, I'll share what I know, it's really not that hard, but I'm also not the best teacher on such matters, probably." She adds after a pause and small fit of laughter. "True, but I think he'll be fine. He'd never leave something important like his looks are to him behind by accident, so he'd probably manage, just barely."

Slixvah laughs, throwing an arm around Aelwyn. "Well that's one way ta get a reply. I hope th' gun wasn't pointed at ya!"

She raises a brow at Choler. "Probably what Ezzy says, prolly was jus' for a prank or somethin'. But, yeah, he do that a lot. I'm surprised he's still standin', but I guess that swagger is what keeps him alive."

"Oh, yeah, Ezzy's prolly knows a good bit on it. I sure as heck don't. Used ta livin' in the mountains, tends ta mean the polticking is a bit out of my wheelhouse."

Aelwyn lifts up his hand palm up. "This one is still standing here, to be made certain in case it has been forgotten." The draconian says with a rolling tilt of his head. "And fire is yet to kill this one, and this one simply carries scars like the glorious medals they are." He grins in macabre fashion, sliding his hand up and down his scarred abdomen. It was a very good looking abdomen, too.

"Tch," He adds, with a wave of his hand. "This one feels the worst part will be to remember all those names and titles. A Lord Knight Cheverie of House this and that? How can anyone remember such?" He leans over and tilts his head towards Eztli. "Far easier to remember the lines to a play."

The goblin woman gets another glance from him. "Hmm. So why the odd location for contemplation?"

Choler peers at Aelwyn again. "It is actually a pretty even location for contemplation."

She grins toothily at Slixvah. "If he doesn't dislocated a hip doing it, like some kind of human teenager."

The Goblin twirls her umbrella around on her shoulder as she turns to strut away, her sandals click-clacking against the ground. "Be well!"

"I could probably go out looking for one, I suppose, but I don't really want to go getting eaten by a dragon that doesn't want to be found." The sorceress considers as the others talk for a moment.

"Well, not really, you get used to it. The titles mostly make sense, at least related to each other. If all else fails, try to figure out who's the most important person in the room, and just guess at a title that you're fairly certain is higher ranking than they might be. Might just take it as a compliment." Eztli offers. "Take care miss, and good day to you!"

Slixvah tuts in amusement at Aelwyn's nonchalantness about his wounds. "You're gonna eat ya words one day, hon." She gives him an elbow. "Easy, ya jus' write it down! And plus, if they important, you'll remember it!"

She gives a little snort at Choler as she gives her quip and heads out, a wing giving a little bye bye wave.

She snaps a finger at Eztli. "Bingo. I think ya best bet fo' gettin' a dragon in th' play is illusion magic or jus' have someone dress up as one."

She looks up at the sky, then back down the road. "Anywho, TarRaCe?" she inquires, gesturing out down the road with her oversized sewing needle.

Aelwyn bows his head at Choler, "Tch, not this one's hips." He flashes his teeth and watches the goblin go, before he shakes his head. "Not on this life!" The Dragoon replies to Slixvah, "Because this one has his lucky Ribbon with him." He croons right back at the egalrin.

At Eztli, he turns his head and nods, twisting his lips. "Ah, but they are so long, how would this ever hold up a paper that long?" He moves to touch the other makari on the shoulder. "Perhaps one could arrange a meeting of draconic minds, yes? Ribbon could pose as a dragon." He offers with a macabre grin - but then nods. "Let us, to the TarRaCe."

"I'm sure it will be fine. But heading for the Tarrace now? Already?" Eztli asks, a bit surprised. "Well, alright, I suppose I'm not really up to to much for the time being."

"Maybe we could, probably." The sorceress shrugs, patting Aelwyn on one shoulder and heading down the road. "That's what your memory is for, so you know if a baron or a count or a lord are more important than each other, and you can plan accordingly. Believe me, they have entire classes on these things, and yes, it does suck." She laughs.
