The standard D&D classes can all be found here on the Emblem of Ea. For the most part there are no changes to these classes outside of theme-based implications and a minor tweak here and there. So you can select from any of the eleven classes presented in the Players Handbook (Barbarian, Bard, Cleric, Druid, Fighter, Monk, Paladin, Ranger, Rogue, Sorcerer and Wizard). In addition to this we also present a house class that has been created solely for use on The Emblem of Ea, the Artificer.

All standard characters begin play at level 2. Your backgrounds should reflect your character's career, knowledge and experience up until the point that they arrive in Alexandria--i.e. you should be sure that you properly explain your multiclassing selection if you multiclass, and so on.

Core Classes

The Standard Pathfinder classes can all be found here on the Emblem of Ea. For the most part there are no changes to these classes outside of theme based implications and a minor tweak here and there. So you can select from any of the eleven classes presented in the Pathfinder Core Rulebook (Barbarian, Bard, Cleric, Druid, Fighter, Monk, Paladin, Ranger, Rogue, Sorcerer and Wizard). In addition to this we also present a house class in the form of Artificer that plays a key role in one of our setting elements. All standard characters begin play at level 2. Since players can begin play at level 2, multiclassing out of chargen is possible.

Backgrounds should reflect your characters career, knowledge and experience up till the point that they arrive in the lands of Cellene and the city of Alexandria. Remember that since you are level 2 you are a character that already has some life experience as a heroic character and some adventure under his or her belt. Character backgrounds should indicate this. You should also be sure that you properly explain your multiclassing choices if you elect to do begin play multiclassed.
