Kisaiya added on Mon Oct 30 05:56:12 2017:
I have a ledger from the Jack quest, it's has listing for weapons with marks by it that we determined has something to do with Jann or Thul. One way or the other, it looks like they're being sold to, transferred, or in some way up to no good. I would like to look over then book, then bring it to the Dragon that gave us the quest for us both to look over - I'll even promise to let him have the book afterward.
Beaglefinder added on Mon Nov 27 20:19:36 2017: Mail sent to Kisaiya:
"I HAD NOT WISHED TO VOICE MY CONCERNS. ...BUT JACK HAS HIS...COMPETITORS. HE HAS ALWAYS BEEN AN OPPORTUNIST, IF YOU WILL," the merchant says, once the scrawls are presented to him.
Arranging the visit should have been straightforard, given your history. However, once you arrive the dragon moves slowly, as though stiff. Changes to the room suggest drapery and furnishings may, or may not, have been strategically placed to...disguise this embarrassment.
So, it took a few days.
"...I SSUSPECT DEAR JACK SSSTUCK HIS NOSE IN TOO FAR. OR, THISS KAMILA WASS...THOUGH, WHAT A THULIAN WASS DOING WITH ARMSS DEALING I CANNOT BEGIN TO GUESS. UNLESS OF COURSSE, ONE COUNTED THUL'SS RESSENT TIESS TO...THAT VETCH." Taara. His claws pierce the sand, like a cat's.
OOC: He is modestly interested in the book, but as a noble merchant, wants no part of...ahem, shady dealings. He does ask that his assistant be allowed to make a copy of the marks, however.
Kisaiya added on Wed Nov 29 05:41:10 2017: Kisaiya agrees to let the Dragon have a copy of the symbols, assuming that he be willing to discuss his findings with her. She finds this whole situation rather strange an unique. Why would they be a weapons dealer indeed? This doesn't exactly feel right, and the fact that she did the whole undead and hyena thing was all the more strange. BUT THERE'S MORE! She writes a letter to Jack.
Dear Jack,
After talking with Sasha for a while, and finally convincing her that you might want her for more than her spells, she has agreed to come along with me when I head back to the oasis. So you can woo her. I expect you'll need to plan carefully because she can be a bit oblivious.
Kisa
P.S. I talked to the dragon, and we should probably talk about that too. And Trade agreements.
