S ince of times of antiquity, nearly every firstborn son of the Rosalian noble House Lecadre counted himself a knight with few exception. Edgard's ancestors have been warrior-poets, adjudicators, and opportunist demon slayers of largely uncelebrated renown and mixed reputation. When his father returned from the Sendor War, it was his mandate that his son be tutored in calligraphy, decorum, martial acumen, and horsemanship. As he boy, Edgard showed an affinity for sword and spur which made him popular with his peerage.
I t wasn't long before Edgard's thirst for prestige exceeded his ability to satiate it, so excel as he might at matching lances or the mettle of courtly tourney, he longed for the celebrity of warfare apparent in bard's ballads and bloody poetry of heroic epics. Edgard cared little for the purse of commission, seeking only the merits to temper his spirit and hone his mind in the tradition of his forefathers.
T oday he wanders the land, embarking on quests when they pique his interest, and forging his own reputation when they do not. More than coin, love, or lust, Edgard cares about his reputation, and with every encounter, seeks to increase his own legend.
