− | Wizards have many options to choose from here. The ''Conclave Wizard ''undergoes a grueling test of worth and magical skill to earn a seat on the Convocation of Rune, the ruling senatorial like body that governs magical affairs in the western world. The ''Eldritch Knight'' is a wizard trained equally in the martial traditions and thus capable of defending magic with both sword and wits. The ''War Mage ''concentrates his mastery of arcane power on the use of it in tactical matters and is a welcome addition to any standing army or combat prepared adventuring party. |

Wizard Organizations
The Academy of Sages, based in Rune and with offices in Alexandria, is by far the most well-known and influential organization of wizards. Smaller guilds and factions may exist (particularly in areas such as Charn or Bludgun), though they don't have the same sway or resources. More on the Academy is available in the Organizations section.
