The Sendoran Knights of Peace exist as one half of the ancient knightly order once known as The Millennial Knight Protectors. The demise of the ancient kingdom and periods of civil strife and wars between nobility caused the old knighthood to fracture. Though peace reigns today, the Templars of the Holy Sword and the Knights of Peace exist as the remnants of what was once a unified order. The Knights of Peace reign over Sendor, which is a land often rife with conflict. Bordering on the edge of The Kingstide River, they and the people of Sendor are often called into constant turmoil and conflict with the nearby Ogre-Magi Empire of Bludgun constantly raiding and menacing their own borders. In addition to this, corrupted horrors from the edge of the Greatwood of Periantha. During the Crown Wars, Sendor faced the brunt of an invasion from the Charn-occupied Alexandria as Charn's armies burned their way across the frontier and brought the war to the Western Kingdoms.

Sendor's people are used to hardship and trials. Darker skinned then others of the western kingdoms, they speak quickly and forwardly and have little time for flippancy and fun and games. Needless to say the Selese and the Sendorans do not get along well. Protector Ramos Preise leads the Knighthood and the Nation itself and the people of Sendor feel that he is even more noble then the Lion of Myrddion himself. Ramos and Tristus fought side by side during the Crown Wars and Tristus often called upon him for military strategies that many others could not hope to fathom or develop easily.

Recent events

The ogress Kinnevack led her troops into Sendor, with the aid of the Bludguni. She succeeded in taking the former duchy and its capital, Vinas Solmnus. Myrrish and Alexandrian forces united together to oppose her, and have of late driven her back. Solmnus lies in pieces, along with other areas in the vicinity, most notably the town of Versis.

Plot Descriptions and Information

Vinas Solmnus

Common Monsters:

Description: Vinas Solmnus was a traditional Myrrish town, and the head of Sendor. During occupancy, the ogres remade it in their image. It is still being restored.

Vinas Solmnus has an extensive sewer system.

Versis

Encounters: Occasional small demons or devils.

Description: Though Versis has been removed from the grid, it may still be used for RP. It is located in the middle of Sendor. Its last description read:

The remains of Versis lie in a river valley. The sluggish water emits the only sound here: the town lies empty and abandoned. Its most dominant, remaining feature is the Cathedral in the distance, a structure of over 300 years with burn marks on its sides. It looks pristine compared the surrounding wreckage; Versis' last bastion of hope.
Along the cobbled roads lie the remaining marks of Hellgates, and the darkened blood of child and adult alike. Scorch marks burn the walls and buildings illuminated by mostly repaired mana lamps, although bodies remain conspicuously absent. Demons, and later the army, saw them taken care of one way or the other.
Today the sulfur smell lingers only in memory. In preparation for the upcoming ceremony, tall, stout torches with ribbons of every color and faith line the entrance of the town and mark a path along the road that ends at the cathedral's steps. Along the pathway and interspersed throughout the town proper, priests of Althea stand by, handing out food and drink to refugees.

Other notes: The Cathedral in the middle of town is an old Daeusite one. Its most prominent features are its size, a large dome, and a large copper disc that resembles the Sun.
